About
Our mission is simple. We want to make a place where Christian students have their faith re-affirmed by challenges, rather than toppled by it.
Our goal is to enrich your time at school by providing a place that is homey yet a place where you can study and work through life by learning life skills and preparing for your careers ahead. We frequently will have discussions around the dinner table about recent world events, how to deal with a difficult fellow student, to laughing over some silly event of the day. We also can help students with reviewing papers, practicing presentations, and bouncing off ideas for papers. We are here to provide advice, counsel, or just a sounding board for ideas.
Info on Boarding: Cost of housing covers room (with a double bed, desk, and seating area), utilities (including laundry machines and WiFi) and the provision of three meals a day. We have a continental breakfast (homemade yogurt with granola, varied homemade baked goods, home-made larabars, mini quiches, etc.). Each student has a packed lunch they can either take to campus or eat at the house whenever they are hungry. Dinner is a home cooked family style dinner. We make a variety of meals for dinner - from Sushi Bowls, to Lasagna, to Bok Choy Chicken, to a simple spaghetti. Then of course there is always a few snacks around from the more healthy popcorn to homemade cookies to ice cream. We have a few guest rooms that are available on a first come first serve basis for the boarders who live in the house.
